Common record requests you can choose

The request roadmap explains why each selected record may matter, where it is usually requested, and how to organize the response for attorney review.

Coverage note: uploaded-document organization can support U.S. cases. Record-request guidance is strongest in Florida public-records workflows, especially Pasco, Pinellas, and Hillsborough County.

Record-release fees are separate charges from agencies or providers, such as police report copy fees, bodycam redaction/video fees, 911 audio fees, court clerk copy fees, postage, certification, medical-record copy fees, or transcription costs.

Police report / incident report

Establishes the official narrative, listed witnesses, responding officers, and report numbers.

Arrest or probable-cause affidavit

Shows the stated basis for the arrest or charge and helps identify timeline gaps or missing facts.

Bodycam footage or transcript

Lets an attorney compare what happened on scene against what the written report says.

Dashcam or patrol vehicle footage

Can clarify vehicle stops, arrival timing, officer location, and field interactions.

911 call audio / transcript

Preserves the earliest reported facts, caller statements, timestamps, and dispatcher context.

CAD / dispatch log

Builds a minute-by-minute event timeline from call intake through officer dispatch and clearance.

Witness statements

Identifies who said what, whether statements conflict, and which statements still need review.

Court docket and notices

Tracks deadlines, upcoming hearings, filings, and case status so the packet is tied to the court calendar.

Attorney and firm plans

Client-uploaded packets for attorney review

For licensed attorneys who want clients to upload organized materials before the review starts. Legal analysis, privilege review, filings, and strategy stay with your firm.

Frequently asked questions

Is this legal advice?
No. EvidenceDesk AI is a document organization service, not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice, legal strategy, or representation. All outputs must be reviewed by a licensed attorney before use.
Who is this for?
People navigating criminal, civil, or family court cases who want to arrive at a lawyer consult with organized documents rather than a pile of random PDFs. Also ideal for family members helping a defendant organize their case.
Where is this available?
Uploaded-document organization can be used for cases in the United States. Record-request roadmaps are strongest for Florida public-records workflows, especially Pasco, Pinellas, and Hillsborough County. Outside those areas, request templates and agency lists should be reviewed before use because local procedures vary.
What types of files can I upload?
PDFs, Word documents, images (JPG, PNG), audio transcripts, video transcripts, and text files. Bodycam and 911 audio must be provided as transcripts or uploaded as audio files for AI transcription.
What happens to my files after delivery?
Raw uploads are deleted 14 days after final delivery. Final packet files are deleted after 30 days. You should keep your own copies of all original documents.
What are record-release fees?
Record-release fees are separate charges from agencies or providers, such as police report copy fees, bodycam redaction or video fees, 911 audio fees, court clerk copy fees, postage, certification, medical-record copy fees, or transcription costs.
Do you build a defense or prosecution summary?
No. We create a neutral factual organization summary for attorney review. We do not decide whether facts help any side, recommend strategy, or provide legal conclusions.
Does this replace a lawyer?
No. EvidenceDesk AI is a case-prep tool, not legal representation. We help you and your attorney spend less time sorting through documents and more time on what matters. Always consult a licensed attorney for legal decisions.
Do you offer rush processing?
Yes - a $250 rush add-on is available for cases with imminent court dates (within 7 days). Rush delivery is within 48 hours.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All files are encrypted at rest and in transit. Access is scoped per-client with unique upload links. We do not use your case documents to train AI models.
